Rother Homemove Update:

Important update to the Rother District Council Homemove application process.

The council is now in the process of implementing its new housing allocations policy.

A new online form was added to the Sussex Homemove website on 13th July 2026.

Existing applicants will need to complete this new form so that their housing application can be reviewed and assessed under the updated policy arrangements.

You do not need to upload your supporting evidence again unless your information has changed, for example change of address, changes to income or household members.

Please complete the form as soon as possible. In the meantime you will be able to bid for properties as normal.

As the re-assessment process comes to a close we will write to applicants with an update on their case and the go live date. At this time we will move to the new policy.

We encourage applicants to complete the form as soon as possible when requested to help avoid any delays to their application.
